Greetings – my name is Joshua Fields and this is my maiden entrance into blog-space. 
I recently wrote of book of poetry based on my life with (and inspiration) - women. 
Women manage to take my breath away and infuriate me at the same time. 
On balance, however, I respect, admire, and value you people more than anything on Earth – despite the
occasional tiffs.  At least part of the problem resides in the fact that you are way better than us.
And what’s more – you know it and have no qualms about constantly reminding us (some take it better than others).
 
 Staring into the Sun is both unique and friendly in style insofar as it is conversational. 
I wanted to present in a way that clear and accessible to the average person. 
I see no point in trying to convey something common to all humans that only graduate students of
literature can figure out and respond to. A poetry purist may not appreciate it, but people that
have lived a little and experienced mature relationships will have a positive visceral reaction to it.  
I talk about kids, aging, politics, religion, dating ….. topics presumably everyone has had some experience with.

  I would welcome discussion and comments regarding the style, language, and content of the book. 
So far, the critical responses have been overwhelmingly positive. 
Ladies – I wrote it for you ..... I would especially like to know what you think.
